| On behalf of Amazing Grace Ministries and the Helen I. McLean Scholarship Fund, she will be awarded TWO HUNDRED and FIFTY DOLLARS ($250.00) for the next four consecutive years, for a total of ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS (1,000.00) to the school of her choice, in an effort to assist in the cost of financing her pursuit of higher education. Roshaunda is a 2010 graduate of Grayslake North High School in Lake Villa, Illinois. She will be attending the University of Missouri in the fall. |

The Helen I. McLean Scholarship was established in 2004, in honor of Helen I. McLean. Studying has been a life long pursuit for her; especially concerning the Word of God. She has been a Sunday school teacher in the Church of God In Christ for well over 40 years, as well as teaching many years for the Young Women Christian Council. She has been teaching at the 5th Jurisdiction Charles Mason Bible College over the last 20years. It's in these areas of concern and the impact she has had on my life that have helped to create the criteria in which the recipients of this award will be considered. |
